How is summer over already? I have no idea. Tomorrow is Marcus's first day of school, though, so I suppose we should toss up some pictures of how we managed to keep busy in August.

And finally, a few photos in memory of our beloved cousin Chris Failla, who passed away this month. We weren't able to get to California for his memorial service, but we will always remember his gentle spirit, family loyalty, love for animals, and sense of humor.
